Probable Route : Budapest to Rome to Lisbon by Ala Littoria; Lisbon to New York by FAM 18 Atlantic Clipper; USA domestic airlines to San Francisco; next departing FAM 14 or FAM 19 Clipper to Hawaii.

Notes : Uncommon two-ocean airmail cover originating in Hungary. The most probable route from Hungary to Lisbon was by Italian airlines - Ala Littoria. This route was shorter and faster than going through Austria / Germany, because the Italians did not censor transit mail during this period. Note that this cover is not censored, definitely suggesting the route through Italy.
